Technical
Whilst
we are of course happy to construct our conservatories on to base
works provided by others, when we carry out base works for you,
we are very focused on providing a base which will resist all foreseeable
problems which the subsoil conditions are likely to pose. Our standard
foundation would be 600mm (2ft) deep trenches filled with 450mm
(18") of concrete. From this we would raise matching brickwork
to floor level and provide a 100mm (4") concrete floor laid
on 50mm (2") polystyrene and polythene membrane to keep your
floor warm and dry. Any manholes or drains which are in the way
can be easily catered for. If dwarf walls have been chosen, we would
then provide a damp course and build an insulated cavity wall to
your chosen height. External finishes are usually chosen to match
existing as nearly as possible, and internal finish can be brickwork
or plaster to your choice.
Feel free to contact
us - again we promise that you will not be pressurised or hassled
in any way.
